Room-to-Room Intercom
A room-to-room intercom is a fixed-position communication unit, similar to a walkie-talkie but built to stay in place, letting people in different rooms or at a gate talk without shouting or walking over. Suited to homes, offices, warehouses, and transaction windows.
What to check before you buy
- Number of stations: Count how many fixed points actually need a unit, systems are typically sold in fixed station counts (a base plus a set number of extensions).
- Extension capacity: Larger systems (like host-and-extension models) support dozens or hundreds of extensions for bigger offices or buildings.
- Full duplex vs two-way radio style: Full duplex lets both sides talk and hear at once, closer to a phone call than a press-to-talk walkie-talkie.
- Power source: Battery-powered units keep working through a brownout; plug-in units don't unless paired with backup power.
Ships nationwide across the Philippines.
