Do label printers need ink?
Not these. The NIIMBOT H1S prints by direct thermal, where heat darkens the label itself. The NIIMBOT B18 uses thermal transfer with a 16m resin carbon ribbon, ₱289 per refill, so its labels last much longer.
Will thermal labels fade in Philippine heat?
Direct thermal labels can fade over time in heat, humidity and sunlight, which is fine for price tags and short-term labels. For labels that must last, the B18's PET labels with resin ribbon are rated for 8 to 10 years.
Do I need a computer to use a NIIMBOT printer?
No. NIIMBOT printers connect over Bluetooth to the NIIMBOT app on Android or iPhone. You design text, barcodes, QR codes and images in the app, then print, with no drivers or computer needed.
Which label rolls fit which NIIMBOT printer?
Rolls are model-specific. D11 and D110 rolls start at ₱255, B21 and B3S rolls at ₱220, and H1S rolls cost ₱259. The B18 needs its own thermal transfer labels and ribbon, so match the roll to your printer first.
How long does a NIIMBOT battery last?
The NIIMBOT H1S has a 1,000mAh battery rated for about 5 hours of continuous use and up to a week on standby. The B18 has a 1,200mAh battery rated for 3 to 4 hours and charges by USB-C.
Can a label printer print Shopee or Lazada waybills?
Not the NIIMBOT H1S or B18, which print labels up to 15mm wide. Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop waybills need a 4-inch thermal waybill printer that takes 100 x 150mm A6 sticker rolls.
