Ring light or LED panel: which is better for TikTok Live?
A ring light is cheap and lights your face evenly on a desk. A battery LED panel like the ₱999 VIJIM VL120 needs no cable, mounts on a phone rig and lists CRI 95+ for true colors.
What does CRI mean on a video light?
CRI shows how true colors look under the light, with 100 matching daylight. Choose CRI 95 or higher for clothes, makeup and food so buyers see the real color and fewer items get returned.
What light should I use for product photos at home?
For small items, a PULUZ LED photo box from ₱259 needs only a phone. For bigger products and flat-lays, use a COLBOR W60 or W100 light with a softbox on a light stand.
Do I need an RGB light?
Only as a second light. Keep white light on your face and use an RGB wand or panel behind you for colored backgrounds and effects. The GXCT VL119 and Ulanzi VL119 wands each have 20 effects.
How long do battery video lights last?
It depends on brightness. The VIJIM VL120 runs about 2 hours at maximum and up to 15 hours at minimum, the GXCT LM19 1.5 to 8 hours, and the VL119 wands about 70 minutes at full power.
