What to check before you buy
- ZINK vs dye-sublimation: ZINK printers use heat-activated colour crystals in the paper, with no ink cartridge or ribbon. Dye-sublimation printers use a ribbon cartridge instead.
- Print size: Most portable models print small 2x3 inch prints. The CP2100 prints 53 x 86 mm, about credit-card size.
- Refill cost: Check the price of paper and ribbon packs, since that is your ongoing cost per print.
