Security Alarm
VMI Direct sells security alarms in the Philippines from ₱249 to ₱4,199, from peel-and-stick door alarms to WiFi and GSM alarm kits that call and text your phone.
What to check before you buy
- Sensor placement needs: Door and window sensors cover entry points directly; motion sensors cover open interior spaces, most homes benefit from a mix of both.
- Standalone vs app-connected: App notifications are a useful bonus layer, but need working WiFi and internet, treat a loud local siren as your reliable primary deterrent.
- Realistic expectations: A wireless alarm is a deterrent and early warning, not a replacement for basic home security practices like proper locks.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much is a home security alarm in the Philippines?
At VMI Direct, a standalone Daytech door alarm starts at ₱249, a WiFi door sensor with phone alerts costs ₱539, and complete WiFi and GSM alarm kits cost ₱3,699 for the TA04 and ₱4,199 for the TA06.
Will the alarm still alert me if the WiFi is down?
The Daytech TA04 and TA06 kits will. They use WiFi plus a GSM SIM card, so they can still call and text your preset phone numbers when the internet or router is down.
Which door alarm should I buy?
For a simple siren, the ₱249 DA03S sticks on with adhesive. For phone alerts, the TY-DA08 WiFi version costs ₱539. For a shop entry chime, the ₱719 CC19WH plays 55 chimes up to 110dB.
Can I add more sensors to an alarm kit?
Yes. The Daytech TA04 supports up to 100 wireless accessories, and the PIR01 motion detector (₱409) is an add-on for the TA01, TA03 and TA04 panels. The PIR01 does not work on its own.
Do I need a monthly subscription?
No. These Daytech alarms send alerts through the free Tuya app or your own SIM card. There is no monitoring company, so you or your family respond to the alert directly.
Is a wireless alarm enough to secure my home?
It is a deterrent and early warning, not a replacement for good locks. Cover entry doors and windows with sensors, add a motion sensor in the main path inside, and keep the siren where it is heard.
Is there warranty support in the Philippines?
Yes. Daytech products bought from VMI Direct carry a 1-year warranty handled locally, with nationwide shipping. Keep your order details so our team can process a warranty claim quickly if needed.
