Kodak is one of the most recognised names in photography, and the range here plays to that heritage in two very different ways.

Charmera — collectible keychain cameras

The Charmera is a genuinely working miniature digital camera sold as a blind box, meaning the design inside is random. It nods to the 1987 Kodak Fling and has become a collectible as much as a camera — people trade duplicates and chase specific designs. It shoots photo and video, clips to a bag or keys, and is bought as much for the object as the images.

PIXPRO — a straightforward compact camera

The PIXPRO FZ55 is a conventional point-and-shoot: 16MP, 5x optical zoom and a 28mm wide lens. It exists for people who want a real camera with optical zoom rather than another phone — useful for children, for travel where you would rather not carry a phone, and for anyone who prefers a dedicated camera.

Worth knowing before you buy

Blind box means random. You cannot choose the Charmera design, and that is the point of the format. If you want a specific one, be prepared to buy more than one or trade.

Optical zoom is not digital zoom. The FZ55's 5x optical zoom moves real glass, so the image stays sharp. Phone zoom is mostly cropping, which is why a modest compact camera still beats a phone at distance.
