Instant camera film is the consumable side of instant photography, self-developing sheets that produce a physical print automatically once ejected from the camera, sold in three non-interchangeable formats.

Buying the right format

• Instax Mini: Credit-card sized, 54 x 86mm, the most common format across most Instax cameras.
• Instax Square: 62 x 62mm square image, for Square-series cameras specifically.
• Instax Wide: Roughly double the width of Mini, for Wide-series cameras only.

Buying the wrong format is the single most common Instax mistake, a Wide pack will not load into a Mini camera. Store film away from heat and direct sun, and use it before the expiry date rather than stockpiling in Philippine humidity.
