Is the Insta360 X5 waterproof?

Is Insta360 better than GoPro or DJI?

What does a 360 camera actually do differently?
It records everything around it at once, so you choose the framing when you edit rather than when you shoot. The selfie stick disappears from the footage automatically. It suits riding, sport and travel where pointing a camera at the right moment is difficult.
Do I need 8K?

Are Insta360 cameras waterproof?
The cameras handle water on their own to a limited depth, which covers rain, splashes and swimming. Diving needs a dedicated dive case, which is also shaped to correct the refraction you get shooting through flat glass underwater.

What's the difference between the X4 Air and the X5?
The X4 Air is built around minimum weight at 165g while still shooting 8K30 360 video from dual 1/1.8 inch sensors. The X5 is heavier with larger 1/1.28 inch sensors and a triple AI chip for stronger low-light performance. Choose the X4 Air when weight on a helmet or stick matters most, the X5 when image quality in dim conditions matters most.
What's the difference between the GO 3S and the GO Ultra?
The GO 3S is smaller at 39g and comes with the Action Pod case that doubles as a remote and flip screen. The GO Ultra is slightly larger at 53g with a bigger 1/1.28 inch sensor and 4K60fps, giving better low-light results. Pick the 3S for the smallest possible size, the Ultra for image quality.
Do these cameras need a memory card?
Yes, all current Insta360 X, GO and Ace models need a microSD card, sold separately, to record. Check each product's maximum supported card size before buying, since it varies by model.
