Amplifier and Mixer
Amplifiers and mixers handle sound for stages, churches, karaoke and events. An amplifier boosts volume, while a mixer blends multiple inputs (microphones, instruments, playback) and shapes each one before it reaches the speakers. A powered mixer does both in one box.

Which one do you need?
- Passive speakers: choose a powered mixer such as the LMX6 or PM1202, or a mixer plus a separate amplifier.
- Active speakers: an unpowered mixer is enough, since the speakers have their own amplifier.
- Channel count: count every mic, instrument and playback source used at once, then add one or two spares.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a mixer with a built-in amplifier?
Only if your speakers are passive, with no power cord of their own. A powered mixer like the ₱6,229 XTUGA LMX6 drives them directly. Active speakers have their own amplifier, so an unpowered mixer is enough.
How many channels does my audio mixer need?
Count every microphone, instrument and playback source you will use at once, then add one or two spares. A small church with two mics, a keyboard and a laptop needs about six channels.
What is the best audio mixer for a church?
With passive speakers, the ₱6,229 XTUGA LMX6 combines a mixer, a 60W x 2 amplifier and two wireless mics. With active speakers, the ₱4,649 LXT8 gives eight channels and two aux sends for stage monitors.
Do XTUGA mixers have phantom power for condenser mics?
Yes. The LMX6, EV6, LXT8, LXT6, MGA12, BM6, AM6, AM4 and OM4 all supply 48V phantom power. Turn it on only for condenser mics; dynamic and wireless mics do not need it.
Can I play music from my phone through the mixer?
Yes. Most XTUGA mixers here, including the LMX6, EV6, LXT8, MGA12 and BM6, have Bluetooth and a USB MP3 player, so you can play background music or backing tracks from a phone or flash drive.
Can a mixer record or stream to a computer?
USB mixers with a built-in sound card, such as the XTUGA BM6, AM6 and OM4, can send audio to a computer for recording or streaming. For studio recording, a dedicated audio interface is simpler.
Do mixers from VMI Direct have a warranty?
Yes. Mixers and amplifiers bought from VMI Direct carry a 1-year warranty handled locally, with nationwide shipping. Keep your order details so our team can process a warranty claim quickly if needed.
