The Short Answer
Pick a Hohem by phone weight and how you film. Budget walk-and-talk: V2S. Remote and app-free tracking: V3 or V3 Ultra. Heavy phones: M7. Seated live selling: GO. Mirrorless cameras: MT2, MT3 or MT3 Pro.
Hohem's lineup reads like a license plate: X3, V2S, V3, V3 Ultra, M6, M7, MT2, MT3, MT3 Pro. Open three of them in tabs and the natural question is "ano pinagkaiba?" Fair question. The names do not tell you much.
This is the full map of every Hohem gimbal we currently stock, with real prices and the one detail that should decide your pick. If you already know you want AI tracking, our AI tracking guide goes deeper, and the Hohem collection has every model in one place.
The Lineup in One Picture
Hohem's range splits into four families:
- Desk tracking holder: GO. Turns to follow your face; not a walking stabilizer.
- Budget phone gimbals: Mobile Plus, X3, V2S, V3.
- Premium phone gimbals: V3 Ultra, M6, M7.
- Camera gimbals: MT2, MT3, MT3 Pro for mirrorless and compact cameras.

Three Questions That Narrow It Down
1. What does your phone weigh with its case?
Under 280 g opens every phone model. Between 280 and 400 g, look at the M6 and V3 Ultra. Above 400 g, or with a mic and light attached, the M7. Our heavy phone guide has real flagship weights.
2. Do you need tracking inside TikTok or Facebook Live?
Then skip the app-only trackers (Mobile Plus, X3) and choose a model with a built-in AI sensor.
3. Will you carry it all day?
The V2S weighs 263 g. The M7 is 629 g before your phone. That difference matters by hour three of a food crawl.
Close Calls, Settled
These are the pairs that are hardest to choose between, each with its own head-to-head post:
- V3 vs V3 Ultra: the Ultra adds a touchscreen remote, longer range and a 400 g payload. See V3 Ultra vs V3.
- V3 Ultra vs M7: portability vs payload. See V3 Ultra vs M7.
- M6 vs M7: the M7 adds a detachable touchscreen remote and 100 g more payload. See M6 vs M7.
Models We Get Asked About but No Longer Stock
Older names still show up in search results and secondhand listings: the iSteady XE, Q, X and X2. They were solid gimbals in their day, but the current V2S, X3 and V3 replace them with better stabilization and, on the V-series, built-in tracking. If you already own an older Hohem, accessories like the iSteady X silicone sleeve and the GC1 pouch still fit the X, X2 and V2 family.
Accessories Worth Adding
- Clip-on mic: the Hohem MIC-01 fixes motor noise and room echo.
- Cold shoe bracket: the Ulanzi PT-3 (₱315) holds a light and a mic on one gimbal.
- Hard case: the V3 travel case (₱359) for the V-series.
