RETURN AND REPLACEMENT POLICY
This policy is valid for the Philippines only.
At VMi Direct, we are committed to providing high-quality products and excellent customer service in accordance with the consumer protection standards set by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Consumer Act of the Philippines (R.A. 7394).
✅ 1. 7-Day Replacement for Defective Products
If your purchased item has a manufacturing defect, you may return it for a replacement or exchange within 7 calendar days from the date of purchase.
This policy applies only to products that are found to be defective upon arrival or develop a verified manufacturing defect within the first 7 days of use.
⚠️ This policy does not cover “change of mind” returns, accidental damage, misuse, or normal wear and tear.

To qualify for a replacement, you must provide a valid proof of purchase, such as:

Without proof of purchase, we may not be able to process your replacement request.

The item must be returned in original condition, which includes:

- In a resalable (marketable) condition
Products that are damaged due to mishandling, modification, or incorrect installation will not be eligible for replacement.

WiFi Water Leak Sensor or Water Level Sensor?
The DAYTECH water sensor can function as either a water leak sensor or a water level sensor. You can select the working mode by flipping the switch on the back.
- Water leak detector: Monitors kitchen drain leaks, sump pump alarms, bathroom leaks, laundry leaks, and more.
- Water level sensor alarm: When the water level drops below the monitoring level, the probe will trigger an alarm immediately. The probe is resistant to oxidation for long-term reliability.

When a leak occurs, the sensors will sound a loud 100dB alarm, and the TUYA App will send free notifications to your phone.
You can assign different names to sensors in the app to easily identify where the leak occurred. The app also allows family members to receive alert notifications.
Q&A
Does this water sensor support 5G WiFi connectivity?
No. This WiFi water sensor only supports 2.4G WiFi.
Can I turn off the alarm sound from the phone app?
Yes. You can tap the "Disarm" button in the TUYA App to turn off the alarm sound. However, you need to address the water leak; otherwise, the app will continue alerting you unless you silence your phone's ringer.
Can the alarm only send phone notifications without making a sound?
Yes. You can set the alarm volume to 0dB, and you will still receive notifications on your phone.
Will the water sensor get waterlogged and break?
No. The main part of the sensor should be placed in a safe location while the probe detects leaks or water levels, preventing damage.
