RETURN AND REPLACEMENT POLICY
This policy is valid for the Philippines only.
At VMi Direct, we are committed to providing high-quality products and excellent customer service in accordance with the consumer protection standards set by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Consumer Act of the Philippines (R.A. 7394).
✅ 1. 7-Day Replacement for Defective Products
If your purchased item has a manufacturing defect, you may return it for a replacement or exchange within 7 calendar days from the date of purchase.
This policy applies only to products that are found to be defective upon arrival or develop a verified manufacturing defect within the first 7 days of use.
⚠️ This policy does not cover “change of mind” returns, accidental damage, misuse, or normal wear and tear.

To qualify for a replacement, you must provide a valid proof of purchase, such as:
- Official receipt
- Sales invoice
- Order confirmation email
- Transaction record from our website
Without proof of purchase, we may not be able to process your replacement request.

The item must be returned in original condition, which includes:
- Complete with original packaging and labels
- All accessories, manuals, cables, and freebies included
- No signs of physical damage, tampering, or improper use
- In a resalable (marketable) condition
Products that are damaged due to mishandling, modification, or incorrect installation will not be eligible for replacement.

Color Strip and Photo Paper Replacement Tutorial
Step 1: Press the cover opening button to open the ribbon compartment.
Step 2: Take out the ribbon box and place it into the ribbon compartment following the direction shown in the diagram. Press the “Push” area until it clicks and locks into place.
Step 3: Close the ribbon compartment.
Notes on Printing Paper
- Printing paper is prone to moisture. Please use it as soon as possible after opening the ribbon box.
- This device supports only dedicated photo paper printing. The ribbon box has built-in photo paper; do not replace it manually.
- Avoid excessive direct sunlight and low temperatures.
- If the ribbon box is damaged or deformed due to external force, do not force it into the device.
Frequently asked questions
Which printer does this fit?
The HPRT CP2100 specifically. It will not work with the Z5 or Z5s, which use a different ZINK zero-ink printing process rather than a colour ribbon.
Do I need both the paper and the ribbon?
Yes, unlike the Z5/Z5s, the CP2100 uses genuine dye-sublimation printing, so both the photo paper and the colour ribbon are needed together, and this pack includes both.
How do I replace the cartridge?
Press the cover opening button, remove the old ribbon box, insert the new one following the diagram's direction until it clicks into place, then load the paper.
How do the prints hold up?
Dye-sublimation prints are generally more resistant to smudging and fading than direct thermal prints, holding up well in an album over time.
