Frequently asked questions
What is different about the 2025 Edition of the Mozart 1 Pro?
Six upgrades over the original. Brightness rises from 900 to 1200 ANSI lumens, a 33 percent increase. The system moves from Android TV to Google TV. Audio goes from 16W dual speakers to a 20W soundroom with bass to 20Hz. It adds hardware MEMC motion smoothing, full online 4K HDR10 and VRR, and HDMI 2.0. Fan noise drops from 35 to 32dB.
Is 1200 ANSI lumens bright enough for a living room?
It is the brightest projector in the Wanbo range and copes with some ambient light, such as an evening room with lamps on. For a daytime picture you would still want curtains drawn. Below roughly 300 ANSI a projector struggles even in dim conditions.
Does it really play 4K?
It supports full online 4K HDR10 and VRR through HDMI 2.0 with HDCP 2.2, which is what allows protected 4K streams to play rather than being downgraded. The original model handled 4K only in limited cases, mostly YouTube.
What does MEMC actually do?
It inserts interpolated frames between real ones to smooth fast motion, which mainly helps with sport and action scenes. It is hardware-level on this model rather than software, and can be turned off if you prefer the standard film look.
Do I need a soundbar?
Less than with most projectors. The 20W soundroom reaches down to 20Hz, which is genuinely low bass for a built-in system. For a large room or a party you would still add speakers, but for normal viewing it stands on its own.
Is it quiet enough for night viewing?
32dB, which is a noticeable improvement on the original 35dB and quiet enough that the fan does not intrude during dialogue. Projector fan noise is the thing people most often underestimate before buying.
