Frequently asked questions

How long will the EcoFlow DELTA 3 1500 run a refrigerator?

Its 1.5kWh battery gives roughly 1275Wh usable after inverter losses. A household fridge averaging 70 to 90W over its cycle gives around 14 to 18 hours. Expansion batteries take the total to 5kWh, which covers a fridge for several days.

Will it keep my computer running through a brownout?

Yes. The switchover is 15 milliseconds, fast enough that a desktop, monitor and router stay on without rebooting. Plug the equipment into the unit and leave the unit plugged into the wall.

How quiet is it?

35dB, which is quiet enough for a bedroom or a home office. That matters more than it sounds, since a noisy power station running overnight during an outage becomes something you notice.

How fast does it recharge?

0 to 80 percent in one hour from a wall socket. During rolling brownouts that is often the difference between being ready for the next outage and not.

What can I run from four AC sockets?

1800W total across all of them. That covers a refrigerator, fans, lights, router and a television together, or a rice cooker on its own. Add up your appliance wattages and keep the total under 1800W.

How much can I expand the capacity?

Up to 5kWh with additional batteries, from a 1.5kWh base. That takes it from overnight coverage for essentials to several days of refrigeration, so you can start with the base unit and add capacity if outages prove longer than expected.
