RETURN AND REPLACEMENT POLICY
This policy is valid for the Philippines only.
At VMi Direct, we are committed to providing high-quality products and excellent customer service in accordance with the consumer protection standards set by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Consumer Act of the Philippines (R.A. 7394).
✅ 1. 7-Day Replacement for Defective Products
If your purchased item has a manufacturing defect, you may return it for a replacement or exchange within 7 calendar days from the date of purchase.
This policy applies only to products that are found to be defective upon arrival or develop a verified manufacturing defect within the first 7 days of use.
⚠️ This policy does not cover “change of mind” returns, accidental damage, misuse, or normal wear and tear.

To qualify for a replacement, you must provide a valid proof of purchase, such as:

Without proof of purchase, we may not be able to process your replacement request.

The item must be returned in original condition, which includes:
- Complete with original packaging and labels
- All accessories, manuals, cables, and freebies included
- No signs of physical damage, tampering, or improper use
- In a resalable (marketable) condition
Products that are damaged due to mishandling, modification, or incorrect installation will not be eligible for replacement.

- Buyer’s remorse
- Products that are not defective

Frequently asked questions
Will a UV filter affect my image quality?
With a multi-coated filter like this one, the effect is minimal to unnoticeable in normal shooting. Uncoated or cheap filters can introduce flare and reflections in bright or backlit scenes; multi-coating is specifically what avoids that.
Do I actually need UV protection with digital cameras?
Digital sensors are far less sensitive to UV than old film was, so the haze-cutting effect is minor today. The real ongoing value is physical protection for the front element, which is far cheaper to replace than a scratched or cracked lens.
Will 37mm fit my lens?
Check the filter thread size printed on your lens barrel or cap, usually shown as a diameter in millimetres preceded by a circle-slash symbol. Filters are size-specific and a 37mm will only fit a 37mm thread.
Should I leave it on permanently?
Many photographers do, treating it as a sacrificial layer of protection. The tradeoff is one more glass surface for light to pass through, though a quality multi-coated filter keeps that impact very small.
