Photography Lighting
Looking for a ring light or video light? We stock LED ring lights, pocket LED panels from VIJIM and GXCT, RGB light wands, and COLBOR studio lights, softboxes and stands for live selling, vlogging and product photos. Not sure which type you need? Read our ring light vs LED light vs softbox guide.
Photography lighting covers the gear that controls how a shot actually looks: LED panels for consistent fill light, ring lights for portraits and video calls, softboxes for diffused studio light, and background stands to hold it all up.
What to check before you buy
- Color temperature (K): Around 5600K matches daylight, useful for consistent color across a shoot. Adjustable-temperature lights let you match warmer indoor settings too.
- Brightness (lumens or CRI): Higher CRI means colors render more accurately under the light, which matters more than raw brightness for product or portrait work.
- Stand stability: A lightweight stand tips easily with a heavier light or softbox attached, check the load rating against your actual setup.
Need a stand for your phone too? See our phone tripods and holders, or the COLBOR and VIJIM brand pages.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much is a ring light in the Philippines?
At VMI Direct, the 6-inch LED ring light costs ₱250. Pocket LED video lights run ₱531 to ₱999, RGB light wands ₱988 to ₱1,229, and COLBOR studio lights start at ₱4,759.
Ring light or LED panel: which is better for TikTok Live?
A ring light is cheap and lights your face evenly on a desk. A battery LED panel like the ₱999 VIJIM VL120 needs no cable, mounts on a phone rig and lists CRI 95+ for true colors.
What does CRI mean on a video light?
CRI shows how true colors look under the light, with 100 matching daylight. Choose CRI 95 or higher for clothes, makeup and food so buyers see the real color and fewer items get returned.
What light should I use for product photos at home?
For small items, a PULUZ LED photo box from ₱259 needs only a phone. For bigger products and flat-lays, use a COLBOR W60 or W100 light with a softbox on a light stand.
Do I need an RGB light?
Only as a second light. Keep white light on your face and use an RGB wand or panel behind you for colored backgrounds and effects. The GXCT VL119 and Ulanzi VL119 wands each have 20 effects.
How long do battery video lights last?
It depends on brightness. The VIJIM VL120 runs about 2 hours at maximum and up to 15 hours at minimum, the GXCT LM19 1.5 to 8 hours, and the VL119 wands about 70 minutes at full power.
Is there warranty support in the Philippines?
Yes. Lights bought from VMI Direct carry a 1-year warranty handled locally, with nationwide shipping. Keep your order details so our team can process a warranty claim quickly if needed.
