COLBOR is the lighting brand of SYNCO, the Guangzhou audio and video manufacturer founded in 2017. This collection holds the complete COLBOR range — LED lighting for photography, video, livestreaming and content creation, from pocket panels through to COB studio monolights, plus the softboxes, stands, battery adapters and fog machines that go with them.
COLBOR lights are known for high colour accuracy, quiet cooling and modular design, with matched modifiers rather than generic fittings.

Worth knowing before you buy
Check the mount before ordering modifiers. COLBOR lights use either Bowens or C-mount depending on the model, and the MAR adapter converts between them. A softbox bought for the wrong fitting will not attach.
Battery operation matters more here than in most markets. A light that runs off a battery base keeps working through a brownout, and works on location where there is no socket.
Fog needs still air. The CF3 and CF5 are battery-powered and handheld, made for location work. Outdoors or under a fan the haze disperses before you can shoot it.

Is COLBOR the same company as SYNCO?
Yes. SYNCO owns two brands: SYNCO for audio equipment and COLBOR for lighting. Both are made by Guangzhou Zhiying Technology, founded in 2017, which is why many COLBOR products carry both names.
Which mount do COLBOR lights use?
It depends on the model. The CL series uses Bowens mount and the Wonder series uses C-mount, with the MAR adapter converting between them. Check which fitting your light takes before ordering a softbox, reflector or lantern, since the wrong one will not attach.
Can COLBOR lights run without mains power?
Yes, on models that accept a battery base. The PB74 powers Wonder Series lights and the PG99 99Wh grip extends runtime on the CL60, CL100X, W60 and W100. Useful for location shoots and for continuing to film through a brownout.
What does CRI mean and why does it matter?
Colour Rendering Index measures how accurately a light reproduces colour compared with daylight. A high CRI means skin tones and product colours look correct on camera rather than washed out or tinted, which saves correction work in editing.
What is the difference between the CF3 and CF5 fog machines?
Both are handheld and battery powered. The CF5 adds a magnetic RGB colour light, so the haze itself can be coloured without a separate lamp. The CF3 offers multiple fog effects without the light. Both use the same 60ml refill fluid.
How do I use a fog machine for photography?
Haze makes light beams visible, adding depth and atmosphere to a shot. Use it in still air — outdoors or under a fan the fog disperses before you can shoot. A small burst behind the subject usually does more than filling the whole room.
What is a matrix light setup?
Several CL60 lights linked through PowerConnect to act as one larger source, up to 650W. It lets you start with one light and add more as budget allows, rather than replacing a small light with a big one later.
